    Introducing Payment Predictor

Anticipate Your Payment Timelines with Confidence

We are pleased to announce the launch of Payment Predictor, a new feature designed to provide Sellers with greater visibility into when to expect payments for completed transactions.

    What Is Payment Predictor?

Payment Predictor is a machine learning-powered report that forecasts when your invoices are likely to be paid. It categorizes invoices into time frames (within 15 days, within 30 days, etc.) and includes a confidence level for each prediction.

Available starting May 6, 2025, the report is offered to sellers with a paid subscription through the new Analytics app.

This feature is designed for sellers who depend on timely payments for operational planning, particularly those managing high volumes of transactions or operating across multiple regions. By anticipating delays or early payments, Payment Predictor supports better cash flow management, reduces financial risk, and provides greater visibility into expected payment timelines for improved planning and stability.

    Access and activation

To access the Payment Predictor report, your company must meet the following prerequisites:

    • Hold a paid Tradeshift subscription

    • Enable the Analytics app (Tradeshift’s new business intelligence and analytics app) on your company’s Tradeshift account

Note: A company admin must install the Analytics app for each branch.

Once these prerequisites are met, you can find the Analytics app via the App Finder.

    To access the report:

    • Open the Analytics app

    • Navigate to Available Dashboards & Reports

    • Click on Payment Prediction Report

To enable the functionalities of the Analytics app, including the Payment Prediction report, we automatically assign a license for the underlying QuickSight technology. One license is included per company account as part of your subscription, and it will be assigned to the first user in your company who accesses the app.

If additional users access the Analytics app, they will see an error indicating that the available license has already been allocated.

If you would like to reassign it or request additional licenses, please contact our Support team.

    Functionality overview

With Payment Predictor, you can view the estimated payment date for eligible transactions. This estimate is displayed in the Predicted Payment column as a timeframe. Alongside the prediction, a Confidence level indicates the likelihood that the estimate is accurate.

These insights can support your cash flow and operational planning and reduce the need to contact your Buyers regarding payment timing. The confidence level can help you determine how much reliance to place on each prediction.

Please note: The Predicted Payment date is an estimate and not a guaranteed payout date. Actual payment timing may vary due to bank processing times, buyer actions, or other transactional factors.

    How to navigate the report

Select Branch: Use the search bar at the top of the report to choose the branch you want to view.

Sort Data: click on a column header to sort the data in ascending or descending order or to freeze the column.

Export Options: Hover over the top of the report and click the three-dot menu icon to export the report as a CSV or Excel file.

    Can’t access the Analytics app?

If you're unable to access the Analytics app or the Payment Predictor report, it's likely that your company has not yet met the required prerequisites.

Please contact our Support team for guidance with activation.
